Beyond Beauty Photography is the very personal passion of a good friend of mine named Sheila Danuser. Sheila takes a lot of pride in her work and I wanted for her to be proud of her website too. Probably the hardest part was getting the logo right. If it was going to reflect Sheila’s personality, it needed to be fun and have at least SOME color. However, since she is just starting out in this business, a more professional looking logo can project confidence in the minds of potential clients who may be worried about experience. I think we struck a nice balance with the butterfly logo that we came up with.
For the website, I chose a design that matched the colors of the logo and provided Sheila with a place to showcase her work. Users can click on thumbnails of each image in the gallery to see the full-size version. All in all, this was a very inexpensive project that has been generating some rave reviews for the business.
